What is Outdoor Resources Online?	Outdoor Resources Online was started in September, 1995, more as a way to learn some HTML than anything else. I wasn't sure what kind of site to build, and decided on starting a directory of outdoor recreation related site. At first I went out and found the sites myself -- a great approach if you're a college student with time on your hands. But now that I'm a working man, I count on people across the world sending me links. And they do - quite a large number each week. The site has evolved to become a rather large dirctory of links, all annotated by the people who know their sites the best! That's what makes us different from all the other directories out there.
How do I submit a site to Outdoor Resources Online?	Simple...head on over to the this page and fill in the information. Please try and limit your site descriptions to 25 words or less, and keep in mind that what you write is what I use for your site description. Please also do not fill in your submission using all capital letters - I immediately throw those away!
Hoy many different sites can I add?	As many as you feel like inputting! The more the better, since it only serves to help make Outdoor Resources Online a more complete index of outdoor recreation related sites.
How many categories can I place my site in?	As many as you want, provided that you feel it's appropriate they be in each one. Most of the time I go with what people send me. Sometimes, I exercise some personal judgement and do what I think is right. If you find what you believe to be an error, just drop me a note.
What's this I hear about FREE advertising on your site?	It's true! I'm giving away all my advertising space for free, as a way to say "Thanks" to all of you who have helped make Outdoor Resources Online what it is today! You can find all the juicy details at the advertise page. It's worth your while to check it out!
How long does it take to have my site added?	Well, if history is any indicator, it can take anywhere from one hour to a month! However, I'm trying my absolute hardest to update the site in a timely manner. I'm only one person, so sometimes it takes awhile.
Are you looking for sponsors?	YES!! It costs a lot of money to keep a site this size up and running. I've recently started up as an associate with several organizations to help defray costs - every attempt was made to ensure that any advertising would stay in line with the purpose of the site. Just email me if you have a proposal.
